Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are excited to announce the Adriatic Vascular Summit 2011 (AVS) to be held on September 8-10, 2011 in Portorož, Slovenia. It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate as an attendee of this important educational program organized by the International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISES) and the ISES Education and Research Institute. This year, ISES is proud to have the Slovene Society of Vascular Surgery and DRIMS (Slovene Society for Research and Education) collaborate with the Society to produce the AVS meeting.
Building on the success of previous programs, the Program Directors wish to enhance the skills and expand the knowledge of professionals treating patients in every area of vascular disease. The AVS offers a comprehensive update on the state of the art in the field of the vascular disease through authoritative lectures and panel discussions. The lively interactive discussion between the presenter, expert international faculty panel and the audience should stand out as the most engaging and beneficial aspects of the meeting. A special venous session has been added to the already outstanding agenda.
The faculty of the Adriatic Vascular Summit 2011 has established international reputation as both clinicians and leaders in their fields. We are anticipating an audience of clinicians from all specialties who treat the basic and advanced vascular issues that include interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, advanced endovascular specialists and interventional radiologists.
The faculty will discuss vascular disease epidemiology, a wide variety of diagnostic procedures, various surgical techniques, and endovascular intervention topics. During interactive taped live case presentations, the faculty will discuss the standard of care and alternative options in specific patient cases with special emphasis how to perform complex interventional procedures and how to manage or avoid major complications.
There are many opportunities for companies and organizations to exhibit or support the AVS meeting. For more details, please visit the Exhibitors page. Customized packages can be developed to meet your organization’s individual needs and objectives.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to register and to participate in this excellent and relevant educational program. We also invite the submission of interesting or challenging cases for presentation. Please contact the ISES office for more information.
We look forward to welcoming you to Portorož.
